When you need to have all your personal belongings moved quickly and safely from your neighborhood to another, or across many states, Nationwide Relocation Services is there to help get the job done right.

After Nationwide Relocation Services' network of movers successfully moves one into a downsized apartment, one might, in this situation, actually need help decorating a smaller area of space after having lived in a larger household prior to the move. Here are some tips and ideas in an attempt to aid in your enjoyment of your smaller digs with a bit of luxury and potential fun in mind:

Don't let any room get cluttered. The worst thing for a small apartment is looking like a hoarder lives there. Everything should be in its place, and put there when done. This includes kitchen utensils, coffee cups, and dish towels. Put everything back where you found it at first. Simple, neat, tidy. You will be a happier apartment dweller.

No need for a dining room; purchase on line or at a garage sale a small round or squared-shaped “bistro” set, with bar-stool-height chairs; set this in a corner, actually anywhere it fits (with the exception of the bedroom) and use it for coffee sipping, journal writing, and of course, eating meals at.

Make your bedroom your mecca of relaxation. Use scarves, pretty print sheets, dried flowers, ribbons, and ruffles. Make this a girly-girl area just for you. When guests enter here, they will ooh and aah with delight when you toss a beautifully-printed scarf on top of your lamp shade; if you're a gentleman, black and white bedding make a streamlined look with taste.

Keep your windows sparkling clean, to let in light, grow indoor plants, and give the feeling of more space. This may be tricky, especially if you're on a second or third floor, but the key is to keep water spots from clouding up your views; each weekend, if you keep it up, you will be easily able to squeegee your windows to perfection.

Take time to dust and vacuum each weekend. This will keep your apartment looking good. Rearrange a thing or two as well, to keep things fresh and new for you and guests. If you have a pet cat...
